Requirements

  • You must have a UK trade mark or pending trade mark application.
  • You must be a UK company or person residing in the UK, or have some other UK based interest. 
  • The applicant must pay the WIPO application fee plus the local fee for each country chosen.

Process

  1. Searches - for any conflicting trade marks in the countries that you wish to file the trade mark in.
  2. Filing - of an international application via the WIPO listing each country to be designated.
  3. WIPO processing - WIPO sends the application for domestic processing by each country.
  4. Local processing - the trade mark application then enters the normal process of registration under local rules.

We charge a fixed fee of £699 to complete your WIPO trademark registration. The government fees are paid separately via the WIPO. Each region has a government fee for registration.
